The timing was perfect for the official launch of Roxan’s latest stunning development, Central Park at Branksome Wood Road in Bournemouth.

Just as the extended winter finally draws to an end and the long-awaited signs of spring are clearly in evidence, the official launch day on Friday 10 May dawned dry at least and as the gathered guests including Tobias Ellwood MP, other local dignitaries, local business people, purchasers, the Roxan team and invited guests prepared for formal speeches in the marquee, there was a brief allocation of sunshine, which was taken as a good omen.

Tobias Ellwood MP was full of enthusiasm for the newly built development, saying: “Central Park is a huge triumph for Roxan Construction. The great design and skill of the construction team have overcome the challenges of the site and what has been created here is absolutely wonderful.
“My fellow Bournemouth Member of Parliament, Conor Burns and I are passionate about the area and what Bournemouth is about. I have been speaking to tourism staff recently about what makes Bournemouth special and Central Park is proof of what can be done when the decision is taken to create something special in terms of location and design.

“Congratulations to Roxan for creating a masterpiece which also has off road parking, in this case underground, which is a necessary amenity too often overlooked.”

Guests relaxed in an informal atmosphere after the ribbon was cut and had access to several of the apartments including two stunning show homes, beautifully styled by in-house interior designer Laleh Yeganegy.

However, purchasers of these superb apartments will be buying not only state of the art new homes but also into the lifestyle suggested by the design and position of Central Park with cycle routes and footpaths meandering through the public gardens at the rear to the Winter Gardens, seafront and central Bournemouth where a delightful café culture awaits.

With more than a third of the apartments sold prior to the official launch George Long at Savills expects busy times ahead now that the building and landscaping are complete and the show homes are ready for viewing.
